Pros

Great people on the ground level and generally good middle management team. Good benefits and support from Allscripts corporate. Great PTO policy. Enjoyable office culture in the Boston area.

Cons

Lack of strategic direction. Tend to copy competitors rather than formulate original ideas. To be 5 years old, CarePort still shifts strategies quarter to quarter like a true startup. Quick to adopt and present industry buzz words during sales process without an aligned road map. Lack of transparency from executive leadership. Culture of "spin". Executive leadership does not seek feedback.

- great people - flexible work from home opportunities - decent benefits - excellent engineering leadership - challenging problems, interesting technology - convenient location near south station makes commuting from far away easy

Cons

- engineering work frequently seems sales-driven, not envisioned internally - at times seems like there is a lack of a true vision for certain products
