Pros

The only pro is the students

Cons

Well everything is a con. First they don't really Hite you as a faculty member they hire you as an adjunct faculty you get full-time hours but none of the benefits on holidays you're not paid there is no insurance unless you are considered admissions office receptionist or management none of the teachers that work hard everyday get any type of benefits another thing is for the dental assisting program they are saying that these kids get certifications but actually it's a piece of paper it's not a certified dental assistant program and they charge way too much for piece of paper these girls cannot even get their Radiology certification through this program. Their equipment that they are using is very outdated for them charging $16, 000 per student they should have updated equipment for every single program. They are literally ripping every single person that walks in there off. the management has an attitude when you make suggestions to make their programs better they use you and never give you a title they dangle that you will get full-time benefits if you are the lead medical assistant teacher the lead dental assistant teacher the lead massage therapy teacher but they never give you the title and they tell every single teacher that they can be that and they only time when they try to put someone as that is when they're about to get audited. And your checks don't even say it first Institute school it says a traveling agency makes you think twice about what's really going on at that location at the schools my advice is to run far away from the school you do not want to be associated with it because even if you try to leave because of how horrible their reputation is in the dental and medical community you will never get hired after working there.

Pros

I liked teaching and was good at it. I have nothing positive to say honestly.

Cons

Honestly, everything is a con. The pay, no benefits, the fact that they take you out of teaching a class atthedrop of a dime. School overcharges for tuition. All they care about is how many people they can get in the door. It’s all about numbers and the amount of money coming in. They don’t care if the teachers are having problems. They prefer to blame you for everything you do wrong versus acknowledging anything you do right. A regular college has teachers that stick with teaching a whole entire semester. This school takes you out of teaching a class if just one student has a problem with your teaching style. Most teachers read out of their books versus knowing what they are actually teaching. Staff belittles you and makes you feel inferior to them. If you have a problem and bring it to their attention, it is looked at as a negative for you as a teacher and they take you out of the class instantly. Sure they may give you a way to change things but they don’t want to lose their students because of your one problem. No other college on this planet changes teachers in a classroom 3 to 4 times in one class. Only this one does. Turnaround rate is ridiculous for employees. Again, it’s all about numbers. Even if an employee increases their education, a raise is still never given.

Pros

Management is never involved in the classroom setting, so you don't have to worry about administration micromanaging you. However, that is also negative because they have no idea what you do and how hard your work.

Cons

HORRIBLE company. Management is so unorganized. There is a HUGE lack of communication between management and facility. The turnover rate is super high. It is a revolving door of instructors and administration. There are no benefits offered to facility and raises are not given. For the amount of money students are paying to attend; the school is dirty, outdated, smells, ALWAY having plumbing issues and equipment/computers don’t run properly.
