Not a place for learning, improving, or getting promoted

Pros

The mission makes you feel good about helping people in a health crisis. Small organization means you get the opportunity to work with just about everyone in the company.

Cons

Management changes focus often, which leads to few product improvements going live. There's a huge focus on fundraising, and not much on improving the product. Management does not believe in promoting from within.

The CaringBridge mission... to amplify love, hope and compassion, making the health journey easier... is a unifying force that creates a common purpose. It feel good to create such a positive impact on so many people's lives

Cons

The growing pains of a fast-growing organizations are felt throughout the organization. We are continually working on improved processes, clearer roles and responsibiliteis, empowerment and strategic planning. You have to have a high tolerance for change and ambiguity to be successful

Pros

Lovely people, great mission. It is what people need during a health event.

Cons

Management shifts every 6 months, they think they know where they want to go but the team assembled to get them there have no experience with how to make it happen.
