Free toilet paper every quarter

Cons

Use of technology, Welcoming new hires and new leadership, Management accountability, Working people to many hours and 6 to 7 days a week. HR isnt there to support the team members and are not honest, moral, or appreciative of people. They will quickly deny previously promised benefits. Etc.

Pros

Union membership after probation with access to profit sharing. PTO increases slightly over time if no call-offs. Pay is fair for an entry-level labor job. Can be a stepping stone while looking for something better.

Cons

Management does not listen to workers’ concerns. Equipment constantly breaks down, slowing production. The company refuses to invest in upgrades or maintenance. Very little PTO in the first year (56 hours). Training is minimal, and workers are often thrown in unprepared Workplace culture can be toxic on certain shifts. Long-time employees with close ties to supervisors or plant managers can sometimes influence decisions, even leading to newer employees being pushed out before union protection kicks in. Hidden animosity and ego issues among staff make collaboration harder than it needs to be During tariff-related slowdowns earlier this year, management used NYS workshare to reduce hours. While this may have helped the company, many employees found it financially difficult since compensation from the program was significantly lower than what they would’ve earned working. For workers with families, this caused stress and frustration

Path to promotion unclear - most of the time there is no clear criteria between a senior position and a standard level Vacation is only 3 weeks and it takes 5 years to get an extra week

Pros

Plenty of overtime if you can handle the swing shifts.

Cons

Swing shifts, sometimes no rest time between swapping from days to nights. ETP is a revolving door. I’m on my 4th field technician in 18 months
