Pros

Good people. That too ,not many are left now.

Cons

It is a jungle out there. Top of the food chain CEO thinks he knows everything while he does not. Upper management is clue less because of that. International Sales Team got wiped out because of that within one year. They never keep any promises they make. Senior management has too much leverage/advantage and they eat most of the cream that is made. Mid-Level and juniors never make it high enough.

Pros

Good working culture. Open and Friendly working environment.

Cons

You dont get paid for extra time or while you work round the clock to make things happen. No one appreciates your work as well. They think that we are meant to work outside office hours. CEO doesn't do or know a damn thing. He just comes to office around noon time, flaunts about his expensive shoes, cars and watches and then take few of his besties for lunch outside. I think now they have put new CEO as a bait while the old CEO still focuses more on his luxury than its employees and business. CFO is Vietnamese - always begs for money and all he care about is money which is but obvious but not every time every day. COO is funny but nice and friendly guy but again all that matters is how much money they make instead of making sure even the employees are compensate a little here and there if not more. Only upper management enjoys the perks by my count are 5 people. They are the oldest in the company is because they take home icing and cream made by middle and lower employees which keeps on changing every now and then. If you are favourite of these 5 people you are done for the rest of your life in terms of remuneration as well as appreciation and acknowledgement of your good work to the company. Even you will get high value account and big-box stores. That's called bad corporate politics. If you are not they will kick you out and get "someone else". "Someone else" meaning a high school dropout people who can do clerical, admin and operational work at lower minimum wages. You will hardly find knowledgeable and very trained employees here.

Disgusting, hostile and abusive work place

Pros

You get free phone cases sometimes.

Cons

Case-mate claims that one of their values is respect, but they do not lead by example. This company does not understand what it means to have respect for their employees, or what it means to lead for that matter. Real leaders motivate their employees by appreciating, supporting and valuing them, unfortunately there is no leadership at Case-mate. The C-suit acts as if selling phone cases is a life or death business. They expect you to make this job your entire life so they can get their fat bonuses at the end of the year and pay for their Ferrari’s while the staff is severely over worked, under paid and under appreciated. They do not think twice about destroying spirits, motivation and self-worth. Have you ever had a grown man scream at you and have a temper tantrum over a very menial detail? I have, here. I love my actual job here, I love my team but I’ve never felt trusted or a sense of job security. The C-suit loves to target people to fire based on unjust biases and inaccurate data that they make up. Ive never been on the chopping block but I saw the threat of termination brought up against too many of my peers. Frankly it’s a disgusting, hostile work environment festering with toxic masculinity. They get involved in the lowest level of decisions but can’t think big picture to save their lives. They think a box of donuts once in a while will fix their company culture. Unfortunately this place is destined to be a revolving door of bright talent that leaves defeated and depressed. If you enjoy having all the creativity sucked out of you, feeling beat up and being a mind reader than go ahead take the job.
