Pros
Hard working union employees loyal to their co-workers. Office and Executive staff are not members of union.
Cons
Dying company that does nothing to promote itself - literally no marketing budget or planning. Third generation coming into a business that has not changed or reinvented itself in a contracting industry. No concern with brand identity or message - just a focus on trying to support profits with same old tired formulas. Three times while I was there the sales reps commissions were cut even though they are the lowest in the industry. A caste system exists between union and non-union employees. Parties thrown for non-union and extra time off given that results in poor morale.
