    Pros

    Cbeyond was a great place to work where your hardwork paid off in career advancement. They had excellent training and were constantly adding new products and features to sell.

    Cons

    Long Hours and demanding goals that could be difficult to achieve. Outside cold calling model was outdated.

    I liked the people I worked with (not management). Pay was good.

    Cons

    SLT constantly changed the way we were paid everytime they saw that we were making a lot of money (at least 4 changes in one year). They then changed how they determined if we are making our goals and never told us. Management also highly favored men and my boss in particular was very sexist.

    Do right by your employees and treat people fairly

    Pros

    If your fresh out of college with no experience, they will hire you.

    Cons

    Bunch of kids running the show. Unorganized and they expect way too much. You will tear up your car and they give you $0 car allowance.

    Pros

    In the early years, people were friendly, helpful and not out to cut your throat. They helped you out

    Cons

    around 2012, in my experience,they hired hatchet men and women to fire 3/4ths of the department to make it a chocolate environment. Turned into a hostile environment. Mgmt got rid of a lot of productive people due to an unfounded racial complaint. Perhaps naacp got involved, hinted of protests, etc. They put people in positions that were really not qualified for due to race. Once fired, they put a do not re hire in your file. Very sad and not a good way to run a company.

    Advice to Management

    Birch needs to re assess their hiring policies and hire back the productive people. The heck with diversity and race. If they cannot do the job, they should not be hired. THAT was Cbeyond's downfall in my opinion.
