It is academic-based research which limits who can work there. From my knowledge, you need a PhD, be in a PhD or Masters program, or be an undergrad student. There are also volunteer opportunities if you do not fall into one of those categories. However, take my words with caution. All of this is from what I understand to be true but I could be mistaken so if you are seeking a position here do not let what I say deter you - reach out to them anyway.
