Contributing to the consumer landscape, lots of events, the middle management care.
Cons
Unless you're "in" with the directors, your feelings and workload aren't important to them. How many people need to leave and cite management as an issue before they look into the actual problem and not blame it on other people?
You contribute to the consumer protection landscape regardless of the position you hold. They do a lot of events, learning opportunities, personal growth. You can build up hours to take back at a later date which was good for work/life balance.
Cons
You only get noticed if you're "in" with management or the committees. The money isn't great, I earned more before I joined but it's been my dream to work for an organization like this. It's a small team and there's not room for progression.
