Very little if any room to move up, horrible yearly raises (you are lucky if you get 2%). No incentive to do anything more than what is necessary to keep your job. Salaried employees can be taken advantage of easily with additions to work load (I know I have been). Raises don't happen as soon as you are promoted. (ie - if you are promoted into a another position, you don't get an immediate raise in pay - you may have to wait for the yearly review before it goes into effect, i'm still not sure). The yearly raises are 0-3%, with 3% being for exceptional examples of amazingness. So, work your butt off all year, take on loads of extra responsibility (by choice or by force) and if you are lucky, you'll get a 3% raise.
