Pros

Decent Christmas bonus. The only casino that closes Christmas Eve until noon on Christmas Day so you have the time with your family.

Cons

Poor management. I am to the point I don’t ask questions because I’m over being lied to by my manager.

Work if desperate

Pros

They have benefits and retirement. Some of the management is okay some of the people are okay. Pay is good.

Cons

Right you up for every little thing. People tattle tale on you over the pettiest of things, even outside of work. You’re the bad guy for mentioning things that are of actual concern like safety. Criticize someone’s work, right up because it was “mean.” Lot of can dish it but can’t take it. Especially if the person has some authority. They will do the same thing you did but it’s okay cuz they higher up. But if you do what they did to you they complain and you get a write up cuz there a ‘pecking order.’ A very much animal farm aspect of some are more equal than others. If you do something your way and it saves time and money, you can’t do it that way cuz you’ll make your higher up look bad and target you for all the disciplinary action and always follow through. Creates a self preservation mentality and feeling of hopelessness. You’ll get pulled away from assignments only later to have management complain how your first task wasn’t done. Then complain about something about the task you were pulled away from. The only reason I’m here is because I'm desperate for money to pay my bills. Also the reason be so vague where I work in the cooperation cuz I’ll probably get written up for posting the truth here. Another con, I have to start medication because of this place to numb my pain. The way they treat red card members is the mindset of that your less than them. Even if you’re telling them they are in an employee area only and say they need to leave. You’re in the wrong because you were too firm to them, when they are the ones yelling and cussing at you. What?! Management will treat you like scum in favor of the red card member. Reason, they gamble tons of money in a week. (Can’t give specifics) More interested in appeasing their cash cow over your human respect and dignity. But all that’s okay because they are a red card members. (Sorry it’s a lot but people need to know what’s going on here.)

Don't Make It A Career

Pros

Fun, caring co-workers, good benefits

Cons

No sick days, little to no raises, unprofessional, unfair treatment towards certain employees, favoritism, lack of communication, employees are put down often rather than encouraged. Employees are too scared to voice there opinions/concerns because they are in fear of being fired for doing so. Extremely poor choice of supervisors, you are just a number to them no matter how long you worked there, management will do whatever it takes so that they won't get fired because they come and go so often there. They don't care about lying to you and they won't apologize for it either when it is known. My last days of work, the new slots supervisor outright lied about me and trash talked me knowing I was leaving. I am so thankful I found a better opportunity. Job seekers who are looking for something long-term don't bother.
