Not the same company

Pros

The coworkers are like family

Cons

This company used to be one of the top places to work and now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a sad reality that I’ve had to come to realize, it’s not the same company and it’s not run by the same people. The products and vendors are all amazing and what the company stands for. But working here would be very stressful for anyone, tasks are always added to your plate that aren’t in the job title. The new management has come in and changed everything and not for the better. It is clear that they lack leadership and overall knowledge of the company. The coworkers are top tier and feel like family and that is the only thing that I will be missing.

Pros

The people at CBD are very nice and those in management generally care about their employees. You don't have to be a christian to work there, but it will help. The owners are Christian which in this case is a positive, because they create an environment that great to work in.

Cons

There's not a lot of opportunity to move up and the pay is average.

Pros

Great co-workers and ok pay.

Cons

New upper management only cares about numbers, and now employees are being treated like numbers too. Yearly awards for long service have been downgraded, company contributions to retirement plans have been decreased with no explanation, and departments are understaffed and overworked. There are limited vertical and lateral movement opportunities. New CEO and upper management are bringing in their own people from their last positions and ignoring the advice of current employees that have successfully run this company for years. "One boat, one team" has always been our motto. Unfortunately, now the entire boat is sinking together.
