      Start-up with unrealistic vision

      Pros

      Great company for individuals who carries themselves well in front of founders and colleagues, but have no ability to execute the work

      Cons

      Great executors but with poor communication skills will be out of the door as soon as they join Made employees redundant every 2-3 months, with reasons such as not up to standard (interviewers could be trained to detect fit), redundancy (some of it was clear because of an executive hire, hence executors made redundant, but most due to cost) Too many founders, so too much noise in all meetings No bonus structure, but instead make you go for retreats. Managers and even founders are not trained or experience enough to manage a team or the company; let sleepers stay on the job (favoritism) HR leaders have no clue what they are doing, expect to sweep everything under the carpet when clearly the issue should be addressed.

      Brand spanking new start-up with employees and sustainability at its heart

      Pros

      - Everyone is very driven and focused on getting stuff done - Team is small, so there's a lot of support and learning happening between people - Plenty of opportunities to figure things out, learn and grow professionally - Culture of the company was established very early with clear values and these are highlighted frequently - No micromanaging!

      Cons

      - A lot is in "testing" phase that can lead to things failing and people needing to drop everything else to fix this one issue - Due to high growth the pace is very crazy on some days which can take a toll on people

      A great place to challenge yourself while making a difference

      Pros

      It's a great place to work. A lot of flexibility and ownership in the work that you do. The team is still small, but growing fast. Everyone I work with is genuinely passionate about what we do and puts great effort in delivering value to our customers. Founders are culture focused enabling autonomy while providing great support and sence of direction. They also put a lot of effort making sure that we retain our agility and focus as the team grows. The team is also really flexible when it comes to remote work.

      Cons

      It's a fast growing startup and things change very fast. For people that prefer certainty and to be given instructions on what to do and how to do it, this work environment could feel hectic and disorienting. I personally enjoy this environment and think we have a great team that will support the right person by giving them direction and also autonomy over their work.
