Beware of this company

- Insanely long working hours - Most senior management is from GlobeOp who had polluted entire working culture of global brand of citco. - Seniors have no people management and workforce management skills. They treat employees like robots and their slaves. - Heavy workload without any proper guidance.

We are committed to creating a comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees so we are disappointed to hear about some of your experiences. As you would be aware, we are currently in the transition phase with rapid expansion plans. Every transition is unique and there are multiple variables involved. We understand our employees are putting in additional efforts at this point in time; we expect the work to be streamlined as we reach a steady state. We have been transparent in communicating on this subject with our employees and we hope to be supportive of your work and personal commitments, and your health and wellbeing. We are working hard to facilitate flexibility where possible among all teams to promote and support a healthy work-life balance. As a start, we recently announced the launch of flexible timings across few teams. The global My Flex initiative is being rolled out this year, ensuring a commitment to these practices across all teams where possible. We are also making a conscious effort and some of the ways that we are looking to promote work balance in office is through conducting monthly team building employee engagement activities, providing recreational facilities, team lunch/dinner, offering occasional company outing in order to enhance collaboration, belongingness and identity in our teams to make our work place more enjoyable. As an organization, we recognize that our managers play a very important role to ensure that our employees have the resources and tools to perform their roles successfully. We encourage our managers to meet with employees regularly to ensure that employees have an opportunity to express any concerns or feedback they may have. We also have an open work environment and there are multiple communication channels available to employees to voice their views and suggestions. We encourage you to use the various available internal communication mediums for any of your specific concerns. Thanks for your review and continued contribution.

Pros

Difficult to point out any positives - apart from the over rated CItco brand name which is mis sold in India

Cons

Cayman island company / not curacao headquartered as claimed by the company. Poor transition management methodology - story sold by transition head to top management different from ground reality / price being paid by junior staff who have to stretch on month ends. No HR presence in India... no holidays offered to staff even on diwali - global management hasn't understood india offshoring at all - dictate global processes which do not fit in india

Thank you for your feedback. Every transition is unique with multiple factors to be considered. We understand there could be some challenges during a transition and not all of the issues and risks can be anticipated at the start of the engagement. The transition methodology used in Citco is a tried and tested global framework, includes risk mitigation, has a robust governance mechanism at various stages and allows flexibility to accommodate unique situations and requirements. The transitions team works simultaneously with business teams, divisional interfaces and senior management to ensure a smooth transition. Given the nature of Citco’s business operations, employees may be required to work during certain local festivals. As an employee working in a global organization you need to understand and appreciate the dynamics of a global team. We would encourage you to explore more internal communication channels available to you to address your specific concerns.
