Pros
*You might meet some nice people and make friends. Indian friends as well from Dubai office. *Sometimes they make fun group activities and get food for all employees. *The office location is very nice. *They are very proud that they offer free hot drinks in the kitchen. *Make sure they know your birthday cause there will be a celebration. *Sometimes they make it seem like they're trying to solve all the issues in the company. Maybe they actually are trying. *The contract says you will have 2 months notice period, when I resigned I asked for a compromise from their part for it to be only a month. They agreed on 45 days as a middle ground.
Cons
*The salary was sometimes delayed for more than a month, and if not delayed then they will give you 50% on time and the rest "when some money is available". *You will get involved in crazy office drama with someone always badmouthing other people which makes it a very toxic work environment. *They ask people to do things out of their job description with no compensation. *It is expected of you to stay overtime, take no holidays or time off and be available all times when they see fit (it's always needed). With no compensation of course. The only kind of compensation is if you stayed 2 hours after work then you can leave 2 hours early another day. *The positions hierarchy is a mess. The teams consist of one or two developers max (of the same level) and above them directly is the team lead. Testers and analysis are not fixed with teams. *No proper health insurance. You bring them your bills and you get 80% refunds at 5k max a month. And they give you the refund after a month or two. *They made all employees sign the government resignation form when they signed the contract. And their argument was that some employees leave without signing the proper documents and the company suffered to end their social insurance so they want to be safe. *They made us develop urgent new features and publish the code untested on the client live server. *The salaries were handed over cash in an envelope. Not in a bank account like decent companies. *They deducted a portion of my last salary (which they gave me 2 months after I left) without telling me because they "discovered bugs" in that time. Guess I hid the buggy code in my bag when I worked there. *Very poor communication between everyone. With no proper HR to regulate things. *I witnessed a very inappropriate behavior from someone where he/she refused to consider a candidate because the candidate was not Muslim. ***If you read this review the first time then you know what goes here, if not, then I'll just briefly say that working there is like being in an abusive relationship with someone you don't even like.
