Pros

Amazing flexible work schedule, and the awesome perk of being able to occasionally work from home. Really positive work environment and there is always someone around to lend a helping hand. I never once felt like I was alone when I was stuck on an issue. The team system DIT has really works for them. Work is evenly distributed and everyone pulls their own weight.

Cons

The only thing that wasn't the best ever was the inability to bank your comp time. The comp time had to be used within the pay period, which still isn't a bad gig. But I will say that on the rare occasion I would have comp time, I was always allowed to take the time within the period and I was always thanked for my extra work. Plus the ability to work from home is always nice to take a breather from the office.

Pros

The pay is competive with other companies in the industry. Everyone that works there is very friendly, and people are always ready and willing to help each other out. Managers are very flexible with time off and working hours. (Start with 3 weeks vacation + all federal holidays) Most projects deal with large scale systems for the government, very interesting and challenging to work on.

Cons

Government contract work can be frustrating. All time spent working against a contract must be documented. Sometimes contracts can be delayed, or there may be a lull between work.
