Pros

Great colleagues who want to have a positive impact in the community. Helping local nonprofits is very rewarding. Flexible work schedule and good benefits.

Cons

No career growth. Out of touch senior management.

Pros

It does good things (with other people's money). Tries to be innovative -- to a fault. Good pay, great benefits, nice offices, nice perks. Very good at investing donors' money.

Cons

The big boss is well-intentioned, but the foundation is no longer really helping Cleveland. Senior leaders worry more about self-promotion and the board's wrath than they do about the mission. Agencies dependent on TCF say they have to kowtow to cocooned egomaniacs who don't understand the real world but think they're all that because everyone kisses their rings. Really blew it in Economic Dev't by yanking support from nanomaterials in favor of wind energy.

Pros

Leadership team is willing to spend time to train their team members. Most colleagues are friendly and I get along with all my team members. Great benefits and work/life balance. effective job performance evaluation system. Hard-workers get rewarded.

Cons

Some departments are more isolated than others.
