Good Ol' Boys Club

Pros

Remote work, unlimited PTO and some really nice people. There are some Directors and the HR Team who truly care about employees and want to see them succeed.

Cons

The Execs (which they call the partners) don't care at all about the employees who are making the business successful. They have repeatedly hire whomever they happen to be buddies with (typically a white male) and then blindside employees with the announcement of a new person coming into a role that the rest of us never had a chance to be considered for. They constantly talk about "what we do matters" when it comes to the customer base but they leave their employees wondering why they are treated like they don't matter. The amount of good ol' boys at the top is beyond alarming. Just a bunch of college buddies sitting around making decisions that effect the rest of us.

We appreciate the forum that GlassDoor provides for people to share feedback, feelings and insights. With that being said, we want you to know that you have been heard and we have thoughtfully reviewed what you have shared. First, we hope that if any team member has feedback that we can discuss it together and learn from each others perspectives. We understand that this is not easy, especially when the feedback may be negative, but we are working hard to foster an environment where this can be shared, we can understand perspectives and learn from those perspectives. We do not claim to be a perfect company or have perfect leadership or employees. However, we do claim a genuine desire to learn and grow and be the best we can be. Specifically related to this feedback, we want you to know that it has never been our intent to be a Good Ol’ Boys Club, or to paint a picture where we cherry pick or only hire buddies or white males. As we have grown the company we have always sought to find really great people who can thrive at ClickFunnels. We never intended to blindside employees or to make them feel like they are not appreciated or valued. We understand that it has taken an amazing amount of effort from everyone to help ClickFunnels become what it is today. We have sincerely attempted to do what we thought was best for everyone. We understand that sometimes our decisions haven’t always been perfect, that we could have communicated better or approached things differently and we too have felt the pain from these missteps. We are doing our best to learn, adapt, and improve as we want you and everyone else to feel good about who you are as a part of the ClickFunnels team. The fact that you felt you needed to share your review lets us know we still have room to grow and develop in these areas. We are aware of that and will keep working at becoming the best we can be. To demonstrate our desire to improve we have worked hard to put new teams, people and structure in place to support opportunity and growth for everyone. We have a dedicated Talent Acquisition Manager who is facilitating a hiring process that promotes opportunity and consistency. We have leadership, human resources and other departments collaborating to put tools and resources in place to further our efforts to support our people and strengthen our culture. We are facilitating greater communication across the company than we have ever had before. We are doing this to foster investment and seek greater engagement and understanding with our people. We hope that these efforts will help you and any others who may be feeling this way to know that we care about you. We want you to feel fulfilled, successful and appreciated here at ClickFunnels and we hope that everyone at ClickFunnels can help in contributing to accomplishing this goal.
