There are some people you may enjoy working with. The job is easy. Absentee policy is lax. The President is the only upper management person deserving of respect. I can sneak out over an hour before quitting time and no one notices.
Cons
Benefits are sub par and expensive. Pay is below market average for a few key positions. They like to float/make up titles to cover up what roles actually do. They also do not offer any real training to help us grow as professionals. Very thin skinned people that cannot handle opinions they pretend to welcome. Raises are far and few. No one honors vacation days or personal days. The only way you get anything is to brown nose as no one really monitors actual work done. They have let some good people go for the wrong reasons and made my job way more difficult with zero added benefit. Long stretches of down time. Lots of promise and no delivery in terms of growth/training. Lots of snitching and backlash with zero proof. Younger employees are treated like doormats. Zero recognition for major goals. No one listens to opinions and there is no real policy on submitting suggestions for improvements. This actually lands you in hot water more often. People are playing video games, browsing social media and watching movies while others are slaving around. Bonuses are given in secrecy, people!
Used to be a good place to work. Many good people who are passionate about what they do and the mission. Great technology compared to competitors
Cons
Many recent changes in leadership with new CEO, who is not from a software industry. Runs it very much like a pharma company instead of technology company. Very chaotic and disruptive for everyone here and many are looking to leave. If you are looking for a diverse organization, this is not it. Women, minorities and younger employees are the ones doing the work. Old, white men run the company.
