Pros

If they don’t like you, they won’t make you work your notice period and will still pay you

Cons

You can only progress if you are French They pay you 24k to run a whole department They give no support They give special treatment to people that post on social media or email the CEO so even if you say one thing to a customer, they can get around you quite easily which is undermining They give no training and expect you to know how to do the job when you start The management team get paid 3 times what u do but all they ever seem to be doing is sitting in meetings It’s literally the definition of underpaid overworked People speak about you in French in front of you You aren’t paid overtime but they still make u stay late and don’t even thank you when you do They are arrogant. They let good staff go because they believe they can be replaced. They won’t take the time to recognise your worth

Pros

You will learn how not to operate within a resort , hospitality environment. If you can survive a position here, you will succeed almost anywhere.

Cons

Totally unresponsive, uncaring and clueless management. Ridiculously high employee turnover rate , abusive hours , verbal abuse directed towards employees. Chaotic , understaffed environment that totally lacks professionalism. Young, enthusiastic staff totally unsupported and set up to fail. Employee accommodations not properly cleaned, staph infected equipment and surfaces. Unsafe conditions for both staff and guests. This company has gone totally down hill. It doesn't have a clue how to operate within the hospitality industry. Management has no clue how to schedule , train , manage or properly utilize staff to run a resort. Total disgrace.Entire staff overwhelmed, overworked with no direction. Minimum 65 hour work week. The resort operates the same programs year round, yet has no basic standards or systems for operation. All programs poor operation...front desk/ childcare/ recreation/ food and beverage.

Pros

There are no pros worth mentioning that would outweigh the cons. They lie about almost every "pro" they offer you

Cons

Be prepared to NEVER have any free time. They will work you 12+ hours a day, but tell you that you're not allowed to put 6 of those hours onto your time sheet. You will have to always deal with random, chaotic, even stupid tasks from management as they try to figure out why the employee turnover rate is over 90%. They will offer you to "travel the world" but they really only mean in the "America zone" which means USA and Mexico. The salary ends up being close to $3 an hour, you work 6 days a week and will be worked to the bone with required dancing, mingling and even eating with guests where you have to awkwardly join a random family at their table
