Pros
Not much. Loved my job, loved tutoring the kids and seeing their improvements
Cons
Poorly managed by incompetent people assigning students. Either students are given to you or you have to do some insane nonsense on Teams where it's first come, first serve. They'll post there's a student and everyone screams that they want to do it. Idiotic method of handling scheduling and speaks volumes to their claim that suitable tutors are paired with care to students. Progression is gated and if you do really well like completing 5000 sessions, you get to keep the bad pay $$25 an hour before tax$$ and go to head office to meet two execs in person! WOO! I genuinely loved working here, at my peak I had 30 students to care for but I had all my students removed from my schedule. New students are coming in and tutors who have joined after me are given those students. I know this because this is posted on Teams with links to observe the sessions.
