Pros

Nothing. It's a joke! When I tell my fellow colleagues in talent acquisition about my experience, everyone always gets a good laughs.

Cons

Working here was a joke! I was set up to fail. The first day I worked they had nothing ready for me. I didn't have a phone or a place to make my phone calls. They only use CareerBuilder for sourcing. They only have 1 seat for 4 people to share. Their database was slow and would not sync with CareerBuilder immediately. I was always the last person to pull resumes from CareerBuilder. By the time I got on there, all new resumes had all ready been pulled. They thought I was slow but I had no one to call. Everyone would be on all night. Most nights I had to wait until midnight until 2am to pull resumes again. Other recruiters also received resumes on rotation, I didn't. The worst part was our whole conversation was scripted and we could not deviate from the script. Our replies to questions were extremely vague, just to get people in the door. If people don't want to do door-to-door sales from the beginning, scheduling an interview with them is not going to change their mind. They also had very strict quotas. 50 people would need to be scheduled a day for interviews and 25 for second interviews. There was no work life balance. They do a lot of activities but that is only to isolate you from the outside world. You must live and breathe work is their motto. The pay was horrific. I had to work another job. I always got dirty looks for only working 8.5 hours, forget that I would spend another 2 or 3 hours finding resumes at home. One of the last things that was said to me before I left was "50% of American businesses don't take lunches. We are not asking that much from you". That's when I knew these people were crazy! The employees are also do dramatic and brainwashed. If they ever leave coast, their skills will not be viable in a real talent acquisition environment. People will laugh! Also, this post will probably make it to the bottom because every time they get a bad review they make employees write a good one to hide it from the front page so people will come in.

Pros

It's a good place for people with no experience, literally anyone can be offered the position (except the over qualified people and older people), positive work place, after work activities with co-workers are cool but usually no one wants to be there, they're just being fake, not micro-managed, and no politics invloving promotions.

Cons

Door-to-Door sales and you get a lot of nasty no's you can't control because of the companies they represent. Fully commision-based/no benefits until in management and most reps definetly don't make over 25-30k a year. Definetly can't support a family working here unless you are a sales guru or make it into management. No car allowances in field. Long hours and sometimes expected to work on the weekends. You have to rely on other people to be successful in terms of moving up in the company.
