Disappointing Experience at Coforge, Do not join if you have any other offer
23 May 2023 - Senior React Developer in BengaluruRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
nothing much but campus in gurgaon is cool, getting laid off is common every day
Cons
1. Poor Bench Policy: One of the major issues I encountered at Coforge was their poor bench policy. Despite being selected and hired by the company, there was a lack of proper project assignments and utilization of resources. The bench policy seemed disorganized, leaving employees in a state of uncertainty regarding their future projects. This can be quite frustrating and demotivating for individuals who are eager to contribute their skills. 2. Lengthy Interview Process: Another aspect of my experience that was particularly challenging was the unnecessarily lengthy interview process. After being selected by Coforge, I was surprised to find that I still had to go through interviews with 5-6 additional team members. This not only prolonged the hiring process but also felt redundant and unnecessary, as I had already been approved for the position. It gave the impression that the company lacked efficient communication and decision-making processes. 3. Unprofessional Behavior by Managers: Unfortunately, I also encountered instances of unprofessional behavior by managers at Coforge. Some managers seemed to exercise an excessive amount of authority, treating their subordinates with disrespect and disregarding their opinions. This type of behavior creates an uncomfortable work environment and can negatively impact employee morale and job satisfaction. It is essential for Coforge to address this issue and foster a culture of respect and collaboration. 4 Intrusive Software on Laptops: A significant concern I had during my time at Coforge was the installation of software on company laptops that tracked employees' activities. While I understand the need for security measures, the level of monitoring felt invasive and undermined trust between the company and its employees. Such practices can make individuals feel uncomfortable and hinder their productivity and creativity. 5. Question Sharing for Interview Success: Lastly, I observed a disturbing practice of sharing interview questions with preferred candidates to ensure their selection, while making the process unnecessarily difficult for others. This unfair advantage contradicts the principles of meritocracy and creates an unlevel playing field for candidates. It is crucial for Coforge to implement fair and transparent interview practices to foster a culture of equal opportunity and merit-based selection.

Pros
Decent hike during hiring and no other perks of benefits
Cons
Bossy managers treats employees like slaves. Does not care the work life balance of employees No hike will be given once you join..Reasons given are really bad. 1Billion and iPad for all employees is just for namesake. Instead of providing hike they have given 30k ipad. it's a one time investment from company side.

Not Worth the reviews
30 Apr 2023 - Software Engineer in Gurgaon, HaryanaRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Better exposure to latest tech than other MNCs.
Cons
Bad compensation structure. A hefty amount they give as variable compensation , but it depends if the business unit you are assigned to work is eligible for vcs or not , and if not forget about your variable compensation you are not getting it and they won't tell you this before joining. Bad appraisals : Even after getting an excellent rating in YERs , appraisal is not even 1%. Very Bad Work Life Balance : Even after completing your shift hours you are expected to be there for calls / meetings almost everyday. It might depend upon your work area or team but have seen it almost in all the teams. Bad work environment : Higher management / HRs are easily approachable but just in saying. Too much effort to increase company reputation.

Disappointing Experience with Coforge: Unfair Practices and Poor Management
15 May 2023 - Senior React Developer in BengaluruRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Coforge office at gurgaon Bangalore office is worse
Cons
I recently had the misfortune of being employed at Coforge, and I must say that my experience with this company was far from satisfactory. In fact, I would strongly advise anyone considering a position at Coforge to think twice before joining. Here are the reasons why I believe Coforge falls far short of being a desirable workplace: Hire and Fire Policy: Coforge's hire and fire policy is incredibly disheartening. Despite being hired, I witnessed a distressing number of colleagues being let go abruptly without any valid justification. This creates an environment of constant uncertainty and fear, making it impossible to focus on one's work and career growth. Repetitive Interviews: One would assume that after being selected by Coforge, the hiring process would be complete. However, to my surprise, I was required to go through multiple rounds of interviews, even after being formally offered a position. These additional interviews were unnecessarily difficult and seemed like a never-ending process, causing undue stress and anxiety. Poor Bench Policy: Coforge's bench policy is deplorable, treating employees as nothing more than disposable commodities. People on the bench are treated like slaves, with no meaningful work or growth opportunities. The lack of support and encouragement during this period leaves employees feeling undervalued and demotivated. Managerial Harassment: Managers at Coforge often display unprofessional behavior and engage in harassment towards their subordinates. This toxic work environment negatively impacts employees' mental well-being and overall job satisfaction. Instead of fostering a nurturing atmosphere, the company allows managers to abuse their power, leading to high turnover and a lack of trust in the leadership. Invasion of Privacy: Coforge's use of software to track and monitor employee productivity is a clear violation of privacy. The fact that office laptops come pre-installed with such intrusive software is alarming. Employees are entitled to privacy and should be evaluated based on their work and performance, not constantly monitored and scrutinized. This practice creates an atmosphere of mistrust and hampers creativity and innovation. In summary, Coforge's work environment is riddled with numerous issues that significantly impact employee morale and well-being. The hire and fire policy, repetitive interviews, poor bench policy, managerial harassment, and invasion of privacy are just a few of the reasons why I cannot recommend this company to anyone seeking a positive and respectful work environment. It is essential for job seekers to be aware of these concerns and carefully consider their options before accepting an offer from Coforge.
