Hi, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your review. We’re pleased to see you are actively getting all the training you need. We appreciate that progression is very much an individual thing – some people will view progression as additional upskill training, some will view it as hitting new goals, some will view it as a job promotion, etc, with this in mind we need to take an individual approach to progression, we highly recommend you have a chat with your manager about what you would like to achieve and how we can help to get you there. Our People Development team are also always there for any guidance and advice 😊. We hope in time we can turn your 3 star review into a 5 star review!

Hi! Thanks for your feedback and we’re delighted you’re feeling relatively positive. As much as we would love to see the sunshine each day, unfortunately the weather is something out of our control however, we issue a full weather resistant kit for our colleagues braving the conditions – we really appreciate all your efforts. If you are in need of anything please reach out to the Officer Manager and she will put an order in for anything you’re missing. In terms of money not being guaranteed, I’m unsure what context this is in. All field sales colleagues are paid a basic salary and then also receive commission, which is uncapped on top of your basic, so the more sales you make the more commission you will earn 😊. However, like any commission based role unless sales are secured, commission payments would not be made. If you need any further clarification feel free to speak with your manager or reach out to the People Team.

Hey there, Thanks so much for your review, 4 stars is still a great rating and we know there’s always room for improvement 😉. We’re sorry you felt there was a lack of training/coaching and support, a specialised B2C Sales Trainer has recently joined the team who will deliver onboarding training for all newbies joining the B2C Sales team, as well as providing ongoing and refresher training to current team members. Thanks again for your review.

Pros

People are nice, central London office is cool. A growing company that might go far. Pay was ok, a bit below average.

Cons

It seems CFL is trying to get ready for a sale in the next few years and is floundering a bit as it desperately tries to turn a profit. This means it swings between trying new things out and then reducing costs wherever it can. It feels like strategic decisions around redundancies are made pretty swiftly, brutally and without too much forward planning. They are also not investing in their people; there is very little training, pay-rises unless you are in sales or company culture. I would avoid this company until the current shareholders have left. Even if they value your work; at best you will get a limited pay rise, at worst you will be made redundant. Good luck to anyone that works there.

Hello there, We’re so pleased you feel CFL is a great place to work, we do too! Being able to provide all our employees with the tools they need to do their job, the support they need to develop and the opportunities they need to grow is our aim. We love to hear you’re happy, because in turn that makes us happy! Long may it last 😊 or should I say, forever, may it last :P
