The people are just a little off mentally and socially awkward. obnoxiously liberal - and this is coming from a pretty intense liberal. They are SO passive aggressive because they are afraid of conflict and the truth but if you ever speak up or acknowledge a problem you're perceived to be Confrontational. They perpetuate a false harmony. Leadership is very low on the scale of intelligence and immediately take offense and feel inferior to anyone with a brain.
The people are pretentious and judgmental. They act nice and super liberal with rainbow flags & false empathy to those they serve but don't actually know how to engage with any of these people or the clients they serve. The compensation has a HUGE divide between non-minorities & minorities, so much so that I hope to see an EEOC investigation for the compensation discrimination in the future. Their business structure still operates in a Flinstone culture (Rock & Paper) and the people have been so closed inside of a box they don’t actually know or even heard or experienced anything different. The several lines of businesses are so out of state and federal compliance, I can’t see why they’re still receiving funding and grants.
I’ve noticed high turnover and if you’re looking for a stepping stone in the non profit mental health field then this place is the stone, but otherwise don’t even waste your time.
