Company leadership has no moral compass
Pros
Some of the staff were pleasant to work with.
Cons
This company has absolutely no leadership or moral compass. The management takes care of themselves. When COVID first hit all of the supervisors, Human Resources, and nurse practitioners were allowed to work from home without losing any pay. All other employees had to work at the offices and if they had to work from home for any reason then their hourly pay was cut. Supervisors would regularly make up on the spot policies. An employee employee was going out of state for PTO. The supervisor said that company policy required for the employee to quarantine after returning. The employee asked the supervisor to see the policy in writing which the supervisor could not do so the employee was told to contact Human Resources. There was no company policy for returning from out of state. The supervisor blatantly lied! A new employee was hired for what was supposed to be back office duties. The company had made office personnel aware of the new hire 30 days prior but, waited two days prior to the new hire reporting to notify the front office employee that the new hire was actually taking that position. When the winter storm hit Texas it busted the pipes in the office and caused flooding. The company failed to inform me for two weeks that the office was actually shutdown. My supervisor called me two weeks later only because equipment needed to moved and said, “I’m not sure if you’re aware or not but, the office shutdown”. Why wouldn’t my supervisor know if I knew or not? Shouldn’t my supervisor had been the person to tell me from the beginning? While the office was under renovation I wasn’t given the option to work remotely so I was out of work the entire time. When the office reopened after about 3-4 months I was not notified. The CEO and COO informed another employee that I had been let go. The CEO, COO, supervisor, nor Human Resources ever contacted me to inform me that I had been terminated. The company then try to rebuttal against me receiving unemployment but, due to their gross negligence they lost that battle. It’s a good thing I was smart enough to print off certain emails and screenshots!
