The office (physical) atmosphere is quite nice. Genuine desire to create a comfortable workplace.
Cons
Classic growing pains, a "figure it out as we go" mentality (poor planning), exceptionally poor senior management, the list goes on. Many promises made, very few, if any are kept. Wages aren't competitive, and equity isn't a part of compensation (as is common amongst startup companies with low wages).
Let’s be honest….
While doing a google search, I ran across GLASSDOOR and perused my employer’s reviews. I was bamboozled, I'm sure your are too. Let me enlighten you. Yes, we are a startup and this means we rise to the occasion as a team. Sure we crash sometimes, but as a team with strong culture and unity, we overcome. The end result is the most important…THE BIG PICTURE. As a salaried employee who enjoys coming to work, even on the hard days. Passion and dedication is what drives me to perform every day. I work at a company that moves very fast and changes daily. That’s part of growing. I enjoy my job, and would recommend CostTree to you. Startup means the beginning of something, which is fast paced and requires hustle, if you enjoy that environment check out CostTree. Bring your roller skates.
Cons
Working in old Sacramento has it's challenges, tourists field trips, events etc. This makes it very hard to hear and focus sometimes.
