Poor Incentives / Pay

Business outlook

Pros

Flexible, some good scripts, occasional wins for writers.

Cons

Many more bad scripts than not, you are paid based off of writer reviews which skews accuracy of coverage, and really poor pay.

Pros

As a company truly unique in what it does, Coverfly clearly has its priorities in order through its focus on helping writers at every level of our company. Writer growth and achievements are intrinsic to our growth and success, and this is evident in every department and in the drive of every member of the team. There is also a clear sense of trust in individuals taking chances with changes or ideas, and communicating between departments to take these chances is met with open arms.

Cons

There's not much to say in terms of cons; as a newer company experiencing immense growth, things are still being figured out and improved upon, but the dedication to the writer and their experience give a clear direction and vision for the future.

Good gig

Recommend

Pros

Great gig for a writer looking to earn some extra bucks while reading scripts. Really is what you make of it. Can do as little or as much as you want.

Cons

Sometimes the scripts available aren't the greatest quality. Poorly written scripts can lead to burnout. But it's the nature of the gig.
