Pros

You can wear what you want to. That’s basically it.

Cons

I was given the cold shoulder from day one. I struggled with difficult coworkers and petty drama. I was verbally assaulted by a coworker at one point and tried to report the incident. It didn’t succeed. Looking back, I wish I had known then what I know now because several of their policies were borderline predatory and riding the line between what is legal and what may not be. The marketing/e-commerce portion of this company is not a healthy workplace. I wish I had stood up for myself and left sooner. Please - avoid at all costs. Don’t do it to yourself. They also delete reviews so if this is gone in a week… I’ll repost it.

I just saw this review. We are sorry to hear that you had a such a negative experience. We value all of our past and present employees feedback. Your situation above seems to refer to one co-worker in particular. As a company we try to be open and accommodate all work and personal concerns. We do have a company HR who is open to hear any employee grievances. I'm sorry you left the company before your issues were resolved.

Pros

Nothing at all. This job was the worst I have ever had in my entire life.

Cons

My experience at Crane still gives me nightmares, to say the least. The company shows little to no interest in employee growth or adjusting salaries to keep pace with inflation. The role I was assigned had very little resemblance to the job description I was hired under, and the lack of formal training or guidance left me to navigate my responsibilities completely on my own, which was chaotic to say the least. Mistakes or missed deadlines, often due to unclear instructions, were met with criticism from the manager instead of support. My “manager’s” approach was also particularly problematic, often shifting the blame for their errors onto me, publicly reprimanding me in the process. The high turnover rate is a clear indicator of the widespread dissatisfaction among employees, many of whom left out of frustration during my time there. My advice would be to avoid Crane if possible; the company culture and management practices make it a VERY challenging environment to thrive in - ESPECIALLY for someone looking for their first or second job.

Pros

The work environment at Crane was friendly and collaborative. Management encouraged open communication and valued employee ideas. I had ample opportunities to develop my marketing skills and expand my knowledge. Because the team is small I was involved in some exciting and innovative projects. I was encourage to explore new ideas and embrace creative strategies.

Cons

Overall, my years at Crane was predominately positive, I believe Crane could enhance its employee feedback. Regular surveys or anonymous suggestion box? Addressing areas of improvement is good for every company.
