      Good work life balance vs other PE firms in India

      Cons

      Toxic workplace, arrogant leadership who only pretends to care. Normal for some leaders to make demeaning remarks about junior team members - culture is evident in the attrition at the firm at all levels - have not seen higher people churn in any PE around the world Comp increase less than inflation Highly centralized - dictator culture Arbitrary decision making on people, promotions, etc - favourtism, extremely judgemental - people do not speak their mind in fear of consequences Very low trust placed in people

      Bad arbitrary workplace with inconsistent and untrustworthy leadership

      Pros

      India office has relatively good culture as it is led by a good office leader

      Cons

      Carry doesn't vest - so you can work for 10 years and then you leave and nothing will accrue to you Very low compensation increase. Despite being in PE, their comp increase p.a. has been lower than inflation!
