Wow. Where to begin...
Everyone is overworked and underpaid.
Long hours and hardly any days off. You work 9-6 every day with a clock in system.
No bonuses. At the end of every year you get a Christmas card with some $20 bills. With how much money the company must bring in, they can do better.
Unprofessional behavior and poor communication. Instead of giving constructive feedback, management throws humiliating comments at their employees in front of staff and clients.
The younger boss has a very short temper and will often yell. Be prepared, his words are abrasive and will leave you scarred.
Ownership likes to micromanage, but they don’t want to take responsibility for anything. I’ve witnessed one of them blaming former employees who left the company for their own mistakes.
Did I mention this company has high turnover? Many people have left because they either aren’t paid enough or tired of how they are treated.
Since there is a high turnover rate, many are doing the work of 2 or more people without compensation or recognition.
There is no HR. You have to go to the Sales Manager who is rarely available and always traveling for work.
Company is top heavy and lacks organization.
Before every meeting there is chaos and a lack of direction. Since ownership likes to micromanage everything, hardly anything gets done so you wind up spending long hours after work waiting to get something approved, to only work on it all over again because they don’t even know what they want.
Lastly, this company looks down on their employees and do not respect the work you do and how much time and effort you spend on your job. They will only find fault so they have a reason to not pay you what you deserve.
