Pros

I interned for D3 Systems as a college student, then worked full-time for three years, first as an assistant research analyst and then a research analyst. I could not have chosen a better place to start my career. All my time there, senior and mid-level management were encouraging, focused on the professional development of employees, and willing to present new opportunities for growth. Benefits, especially the health insurance, were very generous and international travel for projects was a major perquisite. D3 invested in my education by funding Arabic and Farsi language courses. It was also a very friendly workplace, one that understood employees' personal needs and took the concept of "work/life balance" seriously. I enjoyed coming into the office in the morning.

Cons

Limited potential for growth beyond the senior analyst level. There were a few shake-ups with the administrative team during my time there.

Pros

Amazing benefits, some of the best in the area. Variety of projects that are interesting. Great telework policy.

Cons

Travel opportunities overstated and not available to most. Standardization across the company, important when implementing project quality control, is lacking. Work is often tedious.

Pros

Working at D3 was the first time I felt like my employer really cared about how much I'm handling and whether I have everything I need to do my job. The company is made up of industry professionals that help each other and cover for each other. There are always new ideas being tried out and implemented to save time and improve data quality. Management encourages employees to invest time into gaining skills, and gives regular trainings to ensure we all know what we're doing.

Cons

Some of the tools that we use don't have clear troubleshooting, mainly because they were built by people in the company.
