DKB Code Factory Response

Dear colleague, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear that you appreciate the transparency, feedback culture, and collaborative atmosphere here at CoFa. We also know the unique relationship with our parent company brings both opportunities and its own set of challenges, especially during high-intensity project phases. Your acknowledgment of both aspects is valuable, and we’re continually working to balance these dynamics effectively. Thanks for being part of our journey!

Pros

The company has nice events and a good learning budget.

Cons

Working here has been a rollercoaster, and not the fun kind. Getting a raise or promotion feels like you either have to threaten to quit or become best friends with the management. I've seen colleagues scoring senior positions by doing the bare minimum, just because they're buddies with the managers. And surprise, after the promotion, they slack off even more. Some even escape responsibility by jumping ship to DKB, the parent company. If you dare speak up about this publicly, you can kiss promotions and raises goodbye. They'll deal with you behind closed doors. It's a frustrating cycle that makes you question if this place is really invested in your growth or just playing games like other corporate companies. To top it off, the company seems to prefer hiring external freelancers who are going to take 2 years to build a feature that could've been built in 3 months by an internal employee, the freelancers will be charging 6-8 times more than your salary and you will be left to deal with the bad code quality they will leave.
