Company that's growing rapidly but with a poor culture
Pros
- Exposure to working with different countries (over 20 in number) - Invest in the latest in technology (Macbooks are the norm for all staff) - Good benefits and a very comprehensive medical package - Salaries are quite competitive when you compare with the market rates for the same roles in other organizations - Encourage staff to be responsible, innovative and demonstrate leadership
Cons
- Too much company politics rather than focusing on the company's vision - The culture is terrible. Much as it is said that they have a focus on people, people aren't really treated very well. There is a 'kindergarten/primary school' kind of approach towards how people are handled where you are policed and you find yourself doing exams and questioned about why you are not at your desk by latest 7:50 am. - Unrealistic expectations coupled with a demand on putting in extra hours - Very good at developing plans and strategies but execution tends to be poor - Very high staff turnover rates
