You work in small teams so greater chances to learn. Get to work on various technology stacks. Healpful people.

    Cons

No work-life balance. Its only work, work, and more work. Fixed time to come to office, but no fixed time to leave. I have stayed few whole days and nights. Have even worked on National Holidays, and also a few months with just 2 days off including Sundays.

    "Never join support teams"

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Daffodil Software full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Only good for software engineers if they are freshers & sitting at home

    Cons

Support (Admin, HR, Finance) are looked like persons making the expenditure only. Don't join support departments in higher positions like Managers and above. They just grill you and when you cannot sync with what management says, you are thrown out. Management has ego issues. They cannot hear any words which is opposite to their views. Suggestions given by support department guys are not taken seriously. Recently heard that so many guys in Finance and HR team have left the company in past 2 years with too much frustration and anger. My advice is not to join the Finance/HR department. Please contact to these guys over social media and get the true picture. Now It is up to you if you still want to join. And this is surprising that organization like this got the certificate of "Great Place to work". HR head is useless person and does not have any knowledge , so please don't waste your time , mind & efforts in talking with her.

    Pros

    - You get to work on a variety of projects and tools - You get to take command of certain aspects of projects - Good activities (with terrible budget set for them, more in cons) - Self learning environment - The experience is not about technologies you work with, but more about how to deal with people around you and clients, which in-general is an invaluable life-skill.

    Cons

    - Work/life balance is impacted if the manager is inexperienced of how to set deadlines, or in general say "No" to adhoc requests from clients, that are also expected to be delivered with unchanged deadlines. - The service contract of 2 years is atrocious. First 6 months you get to learn a lot, but depending on what project you end up "handling", you might just end up pulling your hair over projects where nobody is taking responsibility, managers not being serious about them and you feeling that you've been severely underpaid for all this. - You may unwillingly stack up a lot of dependencies on your which may cause issues while you plan your leave. This also depends on manager. If they care about what's happening with the project, you're in luck but otherwise you might be requested to work on a holiday or your person time off. - Pantry is a joke, furniture is a joke, equipment are dated, 3 access points can't even cover the entire office area (which is fairly small). - Work from home almost doesn't exist - You can forget about any appraisals for the initial 2 year service agreement, obviously but even after that you'll find much better offers elsewhere with your experience than what you will get offered here. In short, no growth. - For some weird reason, Daffodil Gurugram has 5 working days a week, but Daffodil, Hisar has 6. Employees at both locations get paid equally. Do the math. - Similarly there are a lot of discrepancies among both branches and Hisar branch is always on the shorter end of the stick.
