As an IT company, Dapasoft is CHEAP. The company wants to save cost to the point that everyone gets old laptop that's half broken
At one year the year-end party is a lunch at the office lunch room with sandwiches prepared by accounting ladies (not even catering)
No annual review nor year end bonus of any sort.
Extra 1 week of vacation if you stay there for 5+ years (you start w/ 2 weeks), compare to most companies you get 3 weeks after 3 years or so
Managers always underestimate work effort, and expect everyone to work overtime (without paid) to meet deadline
The president keeps saying that Dapasoft is the best company in IT healthcare in Canada. There may be some valid reasons for the company itself, but it's more like when you consider Walmart being the best place to work (a positive outlook company not equals good place to work)
Flat hierarchy structure, that either you are employees or VPs/owners. Basically no chance for career advancement of any sort
Payroll is in cheques that are handed given by accounting ladies. If the end of the month falls on weekend, you usually don't get paid until Monday. On the occasion you get paid on the Friday before, they still ensure that you get it after 5pm, hence to ensure it will get post dated to after the weekend.
