Pros
Great pay and nobody ever did any work just pretended to be busy.
Cons
Company lacked professionalism, constant back stabbing, human resources was a joke how do you say CRONYISM. When you start making business decisions based on feelings and friendships you know there is going to be a problem. It sucks for people that have sat around and collected a check for 5 - 10 -15 plus years and have no real skills to have to go and try to find a job where actual work is required.

I spent the past 7 years at DTC starting as a DBA and ending as a Manager. The people at DTC were always a joy to work with and the environment was pleasant. There was always a strong business ethic and a general feeling of professionalism. I always felt important as an employee and was always satisfied with what we were able to accomplish. I will truly miss my my time working at DTC; however I will not miss the beltway traffic, lol. Sorry to see it end.
Cons
Being close to DC; traffic on the beltway was not always the best. However, the length of time employees stayed with the company (18-25 years in many cases) was certainly a testament to the company.
