Pros

I must admit, the manager of the local office was outstanding. Genuinely a nice guy and a good guy to work for.

Cons

Outside of having a good manager who knew how to sell, this company is littered with cons of working for them. The leads are poorly vetted, and almost every single appointment you are sent to is over an hour away. I had very, very few appointments where both spouses were present. When pitching a $45k-$50k deck it is almost impossible to close that sale on the spot, which is what was expected of you. Apart from driving about 1k+ miles each week for your appts, you had almost no chance of follow-ups with the prospective clients because within only a few days of your appointments, the call center would call them back and offer them a substantially lower price on the deck (because the call center reps do not make commissions, they could afford to sell at significant discounts.) Being a commission-only job, these work conditions are completely unacceptable and I would not recommend this company to anybody.

Pros

Leads provided by company through TV advertising.

Cons

Production was a nightmare. Half the jobs I sold were cancelled due to subs not showing up, or doing a terrible job. The product itself, "Deck Wizard" was supposed to be a special coating, but is nothing more than Sherman Williams Superdeck that they passed off as their patented product.
