Cons

Fake company, starting with the Welcome Pack, which invites you one month after your arrival to give the best possible rating on Glassdoor. In few months, I came across several people leaving Deepki after experiencing one or two burnouts; turnover is regular in many departments. There's no management of the sales department, it's only a reminder every Monday morning of the sales targets to achieve. And then it's just spend time in hiring process or firing pocess. Most of the sales targets set are unattainable and far away from the reality of the market. You'll have a lot of time-consuming meetings and have to report to marketing or other departments. The CRM is a mess and not updated. Product marketing is low : I had to create presentation materials myself, I never got any feedback on several of my questions. PM don’t hesitate to justify decisions by comprairing itself to SaaS compagnies like Salesforce while Deepki operate in a total different market... Management has an arrogant attitude towards the market, the competition is regularly denigrated and prospects end up feeling it. At the beginning of the year, the CEO sets the tone for the sales and marketing teams: "2023 will be the year of ruthless execution, there will be no excuses" A totalitarian management style which does not give the impression that management has confidence in its own strategy / trajectory. This experience has been the best caricature of what a startup / scale up can be.

Thank you for sharing your comment. We are pleased that you enjoyed working with your collegues at Deepki! We are surprised by your description of the management you encountered, which does not reflect at all our company values and mission to build a journey with purpose, meaning and mutual respect with our members of staff . We completely agree that scaling-up is not only a matter of hiring new people but also of aligning different services and building trust!
