- You can get backing for your (good) ideas and see them come to fruition
- Performance generally recognised more than presenteeism
- Clear focus (on growth and eventual sale of business)
- Management pretty open and communicative most of the time
- Many smart, engaged colleagues
- Informal culture
Cons
- Workload can be too high, therefore slow to get a decision at times, or spend the time you'd like on own work
- Can feel understaffed
- Can be hard to drag those used to PLC life along for the ride sometimes
Products are good, useful.
Sophisticated large customers.
People are friendly, nice atmosphere (too nice?)
Cons
Need to improve leadership, direction and communication. Whats the plan?, where going?, what happening?
Seem to be a awful lot of sales people compared to new customers gained.
A bit old fashioned in places - hangover from previous ownership.
