You tend to excel when people around you are capable and committed. - Been there, done that: The founding team are repeat entrepreneurs and know when something is a fake emergency (something startups often contend with) and what's a real emergency - Autonomy: As long as you follow first principles, there is no one to micromanage you. Do what you feel is best for the company.
Cons
You should not interview for Descope at this time if: - You expect everything to be ready and "just right" and for you just to do your job. - You expect to be given a lot of time beyond initial onboarding. - You are uncomfortable excelling in environments where the context can suddenly change (but always with good reason) Everyone at Descope will still support you, but you won't have a good time if you identify with any of the points above.
