It's wonderful to work with a group of people from a variety of backgrounds at different points in their career. The leadership does a great job of fostering a culture of mentorship and learning -- it's embedded into the project work and structure. Teams are well organized with obvious intention, aimed at benefiting people at the individual and team level simultaneously. Because of this, there is a lot of opportunity for professional and personal growth. Everyone on staff is fun and sociable, with great energy.

The partners at DesignMap are committed to the career growth and skill development of their employees, something seen through the low turnover rate and very detailed job level descriptions. They value design thinking and provide training via show and tell sessions that help share best practices, new design techniques and tips. Taking classes are also encouraged. I felt that work environment and the colleagues were especially welcoming, supportive and its fun to work with smart, experienced designers.
