Pros

Work life balance is excellent, the people are smart and the work is good. The company is continually growing and doing well. Quality work is acknowledged and compensated accordingly.

Cons

DevelopIntelligence is focused on saleable, mature growth and being the best training company, not the biggest. That is not a negative for me, but sometimes people are more comfortable with, and expect a boring “one hat” job, or just don’t want to work hard, then they post rude glassdoor reviews. They should have stepped up and pitched in more. The company has no downside for people who engage themselves in their work and act like they care.

Pros

+Diverse, welcoming culture +Quarterly-donations to local 501c3's off directly from company profit +Quarterly-paid volunteer opportunities to local 501c3's +Flexible work schedule/remote work opportunities +Casual dress policy +Frisbee, basketball and walking meetings are the norm +Fully-stocked fridge (including beer) +Change is celebrated +Travel opportunities across the USA (to visit clients) +Entrepreneur-environment +Open-door management style +Privately-owned, allowing for controlled growth/business decisions +Average 30% growth company-wide YoY since inception +Client list including Fortune 100-1000 and government +Competitive Salary, strong 401k matching plan, profit-sharing, un-capped bonus structure

Cons

-Given the smaller size (under 20), career growth opportunity is limited to company growing itself and turnover -Due to the loose management style, a high-degree of accountability is required and may not fit the standard 9-5er employee -Internal process change is the norm which can be good or bad -Long-tail sales can take months to close -Bonus structure is paid on service being delivered and not sold (as a Program Manager) -Longer hours may be necessary depending on the work-load -Some business decisions have been made on instinct rather than logic -No longer dog friendly
