I have reported this review to Glassdoor on a few occasions since 2019, as it does not apply to Dontech Inc. in Doylestown, PA. We have never employed a Sales Manager in Chicago, IL. There is however, a business with a vey similar name that is located in IL, commutable to Chicago. Unfortunately for them, this review may belong to that other employer.

Pros

If your friends or family with the right people you can literally hold a salary position for decades without actually doing work. Derogatory and unprofessional comments are accepted so you can be an act however you want. They do not drug test so a large population of the community working there is stoned while on the clock so it makes for some good laughs during your work day if you can ignore the fact those same people are making military and defense components. They are AS9100 & ISO certified which is a pro ( even if they don't uphold the requirements, manipulate & falsify data). Alot of potential if they could get over the personal and focus on the business. As a male employee I had more leniency then my women coworkers, pro is to be a man at the company. Great place for certain people just not for all.

Cons

Company doesn't follow moral & ethical standards while violating industry & certifications requirements. Rampant sexism, gender and ethnic discrimination present especially by those in leadership. They do not accept new ideas or suggestions and if anyone trys to point out "room for improvement" areas they are ostracized, criticized and not even heard out. 98% of leadership has never worked anywhere besides DTI and lacks the perspective and experience to successfully do their jobs, it's a known fact and accepted by every one there. Extremely high turn over rate and many long term employees keep quitting in addition to newly hired personnel quitting withing their 1st 3-6 months, serving as a huge red flag to perspective candidates. I'm not a Veteran but the company claims to be "Vet Friendly", I've never seen the company even do anything for Veterans Day or to be "friendly" to those whose served our country but possibly since I'm not a Vet, it could be that I just didn't experience if the company does do anything for them.

I reached out to the Shipping and Receiving employee who recently left Dontech's employment because he left on a good note, and as a "friend to Dontech," sharing positive feedback and constructive criticism in his exit interview. This Glassdoor review was such a stark contrast to what he had shared in person and in writing during his recent exit interview. He confirmed that he did not write this 8/11/21 Glassdoor review. Having worked at several employers before joining Dontech nearly 16 years ago, it is my strong review that Dontech is the most ethical employer I have known in my career. So to the individual who did write this review, we regret that your feelings toward your employment experience at Dontech lead you to write this. We sincerely wish you luck in your future endeavors and hope you find the employment experience that is the best fit for you.
