Pros
1. Bonus 2. Manageable Small Teams 3. Direct Access-Communication to your manager and across departments 4. Crew Members - Captains Engineers that actually care and are very helpful 5. Private Insurance Health Coverage Both Company and Personal Plans (huge plus)
Cons
1. Everyone gets the Same Bonus ie not tied to evaluation of performance. 2. Lack of Transparency & Communication from Top Management to Managers & Employees makes you feel expendable and not valued. 3. Older employees that are with the company for 20+ years are part of the "DORIAN Family" while others with 10 or more years are simply expendable ammo - this creates distance and luck of motivation and drive.
