Awful - toxic corporate culture

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Decent time off policy

Cons

They promote most individuals based on tenure, not skill set. I can’t speak for the rest of the company but the sales leadership is non-existent. From the top down they don’t have a strategy to tackle new markets and literally make up sales goals out of thin air. It’s not a collaborative atmosphere, it’s literally the exact opposite. Don’t tell them what they need to hear, tell them what they want to hear and hope they don’t blame you for their flawed strategy. If I had a dollar for every time I heard the term “stay off the radar” I’d be retired right now. Stay away, far away

Pros

-Great experience - Good compensation -Great People -Open door policy -Copious amounts of time off available -Most jobs are not very technical or dangerous -You can make an exceptional amount of money for what little physical stress your body endures

Cons

-The company promotes based on Nepotism -Skilled laborers tend to leave after the first few years of employment due to lack of career/fiscal opportunities -Attempting to make large transitions from small cooperation to large cooperation. I wouldn't say this a con for the company, but many of the decisions being made are clearly cookie-cutter "we saw this place making more money" choices. Hard to implement automotive ideology(Lean) into a factory that mainly produces window shades. -Huge divide between office and manufacturing -Being too good at your job can be a big negative when applying for other positions
