Pros

Small office, small company, small team within the office.

Cons

Each region is ran like a separate company. Bullying from those higher up is allowed, accepted and even rewarded. I was head hunted for my role with the company, leaving a company I had been with for four years only to have drivers direct fire me after nine months because I blew the whistle on bullying and refused to allow them to treat me in such a manner. Due to having not worked with the company for two years legally I couldn’t do anything about the unfair dismissal even when solicitors agreed it was in fact unfair dismissal. However I am grateful that I can now find a company that cares for their staff rather than one that just wants bums on seats. The south region is a total Mess & full of school like bullying and behaviour. I wouldn’t recommend working for the south region to anyone, I can’t speak on other regions as I never experienced how they treated their staff but I know their staff turn over isn’t as high. You will be fine within the south region if you are ok with bullying, disrespect and being spoken to like dirt however if you are someone who works hard but expects respect in return be ready for the people in higher positions to find any and all excuses to push you out of the company. I started with this company with high hopes of finding a career path that I would enjoy and one I could grow within. I had every intention of climbing the ladder and moving into greater roles. Drivers direct has completely put me off of the recruitment industry as a whole.
