Pros

Company has a lot of potential, tech team located in Bristol seem like very nice people to work with.

Cons

Dropless has sold an idea of constant development and potential of leading my own department. Instead, the work done was never fully appreciated or acknowledged. Employees are expected to work overtime without any extra pay or incentive and are being shamed and spoken of behind their backs if they leave the office on time. Company advertises safe environment to learn and make mistakes, however if you make a mistake you might be shouted at and be humiliated in front of everyone, and that’s only for the office staff. Ground operatives are being penalised constantly by mistakes made by the office or because of the general lack of organisation and can even expect to be dismissed without notice or proper investigation. The next logical step for the management after dismissal is to call the police or bailiffs to retrieve any equipment. There is no regard for health and safety. No one is allowed to leave the office if the fire alarm is on. Exhaustion is not an excuse for drivers and no arrangements for facilities are being offered for those on the road. Those, expressing their concerns about mental health are being laughed at behind their backs. General working environment in the office is very toxic. Most of the employees are there because of the referrals making equality nearly impossible. Those who are friends of the friends are allowed to make major mistakes that result in financial losses or just spend days playing with the spreadsheets instead of dealing with the actual issues. Performance reviews are only focused on demanding more work to be put in, mainly to work longer hours instead of actually working smarter. Employees who try to contradict any decisions or disagree with the management are viewed as those with “attitude”. There is also a complete disregard for personal space and time and you can be contacted by your line manager as late at 10pm about something that could have waited until the morning. There is no diversity within the leadership team. Company’s main slogan is sustainability, however there is plenty of single use plastic products used for promotional reasons. There is no education about simple things such as recycling.

Thank you for your feedback. We are extremely sorry to hear that you’ve had a negative experience with Dropless. We can happily ensure our work environment is unique, diverse and multicultural (more than 18 different nationalities). We have training in place for the managerial team such as coaching sessions, leadership, management of conflicts, and many others. In regards to bullying, harassment and equality the whole workforce has access to the complete training material. We also have in place an annual performance review process to make sure there is complete transparency on the performance, target achievement and career opportunities. We conduct monthly meetings with new employees and have periodical feedback meetings as well. Of course we can always improve and we are always keen to listen to feedback and suggestions from everyone in the organisation. As a start-up that has grown rapidly we have encountered some of the usual challenges that one would expect, but we are confident with the changes implemented over the last 6 months. Health, Safety and Environmental processes and practices are fundamental to our business and organisation. We conduct all the needed risk assessments and analysis to make sure we are fully compliant. As one of our core values is being sustainable, we are doing our best trying to be in line with that in every aspect, from the kitchen accessories to water dispenser under the sink and limited printing efforts. We have proudly set up a Women Committee whose scope is to create a safe space for all women where they can express feelings about female leadership in the automotive industry, historically male predominant, and share any concerns and ideas to make everyone feel comfortable and better express herself. We have an Employee Engagement Committee as well, set up by rotating members, that can enable us to promote our company culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation and open communication. Specifically for mental health we do everything in our power to support any employees who are suffering from mental or physical health issues by being careful to respect everyone’s work life balance, by offering time off if needed and external 24/7 support, by sharing wellness calendars and raising the awareness within the organisation. We would be more than happy to follow up personally about any further questions you may have. Finally, we would like to say thank you for your feedback which will be helpful in facilitating an even faster rate of positive change within our organisation.

Broken van and equipment, poor work schedule. Poor communication. Worst company I've worked for. The van I was given was in very poor condition. Window didn't work. Equipment was neglected and majority didn't work, I would avoid working for this company at all cost
