    I worked at EDT full-time

    Pros

Brilliant, people. Great atmosphere. A lot of autonomy

    Cons

There were a few people who had no passion for what we were doing and as such they didn't care about the work/try. Meaning they were dead weight

I have been working at EDT for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Very personable, and down to earth people - I have felt like my role was meaningful because you get a sense of how much competitions and school visits mean to the attendees. - The role I perform has put me in contact with all sorts of people, young and old, whether it's the teachers and children at schools I visit, or experienced engineers and scientists at events.

    Cons

    - Rely on volunteering, which is not necessarily a con but can mean there is not always dependability.

I worked at EDT full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - The people are lovely, and management approachable. - Flexible regarding time off for sickness, docs appointments, needing to work from home, working slightly different hours to others etc. - National closure over Christmas meaning around 1.5-2 weeks off at Christmas time. - Support. - Everyone pulls together as a team. - Ability to get involved in many areas. With it being a small charity, you get to work on lots of different things, giving you lots of experience in different areas. - Pretty informal - it's not too formal, i.e. no strict rules or uniform. - Very good pension scheme.

    Cons

    - Poor pay. You wont get rich working at EDT. - Poor development opportunities. - EDT moves so slow that it can take forever to move up in the company, if you ever do at all that is. - No training opportunities. - Offices are small and could do with upgrading. - IT equipment is rubbish.

    I worked at EDT

    Pros

Great people and welcoming team. Lots of in-house training opportunities, and discounted exclusive ones. Everyone is very eager to help you out and you can catch up on things quickly.

    Cons

The office in Welwyn Garden City is small as EDT is essentially a charity - It might not be for everyone's taste.
