The recruiter lied to me about 20 separate times regarding the in office policy. Once I started going into the office I realized that it was a breeding ground for the flu and Covid. The crazy thing was that no one ever spoke to me at the office - I was on teams calls with people in different states. No one could ever actually articulate why I needed to be in the office other than 'policy'. On top of it all the health insurance cost 30x more than my previous job.
